About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was hosted by George J. Pappas and Ufuk Topcu. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2014 from Caltech, where I worked with Richard M. Murray. My research interests lie broadly in the areas of optimization and control theory. Most of my current research is motivated by problems in large-scale machine learning and networked cyber-physical systems.
